Service Scope: TaiwanMart operates as an e-commerce platform and proxy personal shopper service connecting consumers in Singapore with authentic Taiwanese goods and local proxy services in Taiwan.
Modifications: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. E-Commerce Purchases & Stock Availability

Product Authenticity: All items listed on our website are 100% authentic and sourced directly from verified Taiwanese manufacturers, retail stores, or authorized distributors.
Ready Stock Items: Orders for ready-stock items are processed within 3 to 5 working days upon payment confirmation.
Product Descriptions & Shelf Life: We strive to provide accurate product information. For perishable items or goods with short shelf lives, details are noted on the respective product pages.

Case-by-Case Pricing: Requests for unlisted items or local proxy errands in Taiwan are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Final quotes depend on factors such as item rarity, physical travel distance, and task difficulty.
No Obligation Until Payment: Submitting a custom order request does not obligate you to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when you accept our price quote and complete full payment.
Unavailability & Full Refunds: If an requested item is sold out, out of stock, or cannot be procured after payment, we will notify you immediately. You will receive a full refund for the unfulfilled portion of your request.

4. Pricing, Currency, & Payment

Currency: All transactions and quotes are processed securely in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
Payment Methods: We accept PayNow, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopee Pay, and GrabPay.
Payment Completion: Orders or custom requests will only be processed once full payment has been successfully authorized and received.

5. Shipping & Delivery (Singapore Only)

Coverage: We currently provide delivery services exclusively within Singapore. International shipping is not available.
Shipping Fees:
Orders below $39 SGD: Standard delivery fee of $2.90 SGD.
Orders of $39 SGD and above: Free local delivery.
Failed Deliveries: Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate delivery details (full name, shipping address, and contact number). TaiwanMart is not liable for deliveries made to an incorrect address provided by the user. If a package is returned to us due to an incomplete address, incorrect details, or package refusal by the recipient, original shipping fees will not be refunded.

6. Returns, Exchanges, & Refunds

Notification Window: To be eligible for a return or exchange, you must raise your request within 5 working days of parcel delivery with supporting photo or video evidence. Requests submitted after 5 working days will not be entertained, and TaiwanMart will no longer be held responsible for the products.
Return Dispatch: Once a return or exchange request is approved, the item(s) must be dispatched back to us within 3 working days.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be credited back via the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days after we receive and inspect the returned goods.

All original content on this site—including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software—is the property of TaiwanMart (thetaiwanmart.com) and protected by applicable copyright laws.
Third-party brand names, trademarks, and product photos used in custom sourcing requests remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Intellectual Property & Brand Usage

TaiwanMart acts as a reseller and proxy sourcing service. We do not manufacture the goods listed on our platform. All product usage warnings, ingredient disclosures, health claims, and manufacturer warranties are the sole responsibility of the original Taiwanese brand.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website downtime, minor delivery delays by third-party logistics partners, or misuse of products.

We may collect, use, and disclose personal data that you provide to us to process and fulfill your orders, manage custom sourcing requests, process payments, and send promotional newsletters (if you have opted in).

9. Personal Data

No Relationship: Neither these Terms nor your use of or access to the site creates any joint venture, agency, partnership, or employment relationship between you and TaiwanMart.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party. We reserve the right to transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organization or entity.
Waiver & Severability: The failure of TaiwanMart to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. In the event that any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Third-Party Rights: A person who is not a party to this agreement shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act of Singapore to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any term of this agreement.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, which expressly incorporate our Privacy Policy, FAQ, and shipping or return policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and TaiwanMart regarding the subject matter hereof, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with the SIAC Rules for the time being in force. The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore, the tribunal shall consist of one (1) arbitrator, and the language of arbitration shall be English.
